I literally screamed “OMG!” when I saw this new podcast! After spending over and hour driving home in traffic, and a hell of a week at work, this was just the best holiday treat I could ask for! I do consider having wine while listening to the podcast as not drinking alone since I’m listening to you lovely ladies and maybe yelling out answers and scaring my dogs. Happy Holidays!

Thank you both again!

I had TOTALLY forgotten I wrote in last year! And I agree – with an additional year of tasting behind me, that BdB Champers was way to “austere”… a more rich, opulent style bubbly (maybe even a blancette d limoux) or perhaps a rose’ Champagne could have rocked it. I can see diff wines working for different reasons.

Totally trial and error… You can imagine flavors in a dish/wine, but sometimes expectations just don’t align with reality! Took me a while to figure out, there are SO many wines that will work with any given dish! If it was up to me, I’d have dinner with 4 different glasses of wine… All at once. That’s okay, right?
